Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He is among the most wealthy and well-known Reggae Singers. He starred in the cult legendary film Shottas opposite another singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani enlisted Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles including Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Does It (remix) and Sensimelia each of which contributed to his rising popularity in the new wave of reggae artists. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up along with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue a hit cover version from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared at the Midem performance (an international music showcase) and was first performed in Miami. Marley's show at the Cameo Theatre was broadcast live across 36 countries via Caribbean News Agency. Marley became the subject of bidding battles.
